BLAST Premier, the world-renowned Counter-Strike tournament, has finalized the roster for the 2024 World Final, set to take place at Resorts World Convention Centre, Sentosa, Singapore from October 30 to November 3, 2024.
Following the BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen (September 25-29), eight teams have secured their spots to compete for the trophy and a share of the $1 million prize pool. The finalists include top-ranked NAVI, defending champions Vitality, G2 Esports, Team Spirit, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Astralis, and MOUZ.
“Singapore is the place to be for esports and Counter-Strike fans as we host BLAST’s first major event in Southeast Asia,” said James Woollard, Director of Market Development at BLAST. Singapore is home to over 500,000 esports enthusiasts and is emerging as a premier destination for both sports and esports, thanks to its robust tourism and technology infrastructure. BLAST is partnering with the Singapore Tourism Board and AEG Presents Asia to bring this exciting event to life.
Team Liquid’s Keith “NAF” Markovic shared his excitement. “We’re thrilled to qualify for the World Final and look forward to competing in front of thousands of fans in Singapore. It’s a tough competition, but we’re ready to face the challenge in such a unique location.”
BLAST has also announced that Singapore will host the BLAST Dota Slam in 2025, with more details to come.
